Psalms 105:9-12

9 The ^acovenant which He made with Abraham,
And His ^boath to Isaac.
10 Then He ^cconfirmed it to Jacob as a statute,
To Israel as an everlasting covenant,
11 Saying, “ ^dTo you I will give the land of Canaan
As the ^{▼▼Lit measuring line
,} ^fportion of your inheritance,”
12 When they were only a ^gfew people in number,
Very few, and ^hstrangers in it.
